The European Training Foundation (ETF) has launched a new project to explore how technological change and innovation – amongst other drivers of change (Globalisation, consumer preferences, climate change, demographic changes, migration, etc.) – affect job contents and the demand for skills in specific sectors in its partner countries. The project aims to document the changing tasks in occupations and new skills needed in specific sectors, how firms develop/find the new skills they need and the impact on education and training provision.

A case study approach is used to gather insights about innovation in narrowly selected sectors, resulting from introduction of new technologies, climate change, globalisation, etc.
